Hawaiian Airlines Inaugural flight to/from Oakland, CA April 2008
Traveling with Kawika Trask & Paul "Ho'omanawanuiikanaauao" Apo, along with hula dancers as part of promoting Hawaiian Airlines' inaugural flights to and from Oakland, CA. We drove into the city every night and has so much fun in San Francisco!

Mahalo nui to Kau'i Isa-Kahaku, kumu hula "Na Wai Ola". She and her entire 'ohana showed us great hospitality. The halau had their 12th annual ho'ike on the beautiful grounds of the scool. It was an outdoor event especially dedicated to her mother.
Merrie Monarch 2008, Hula Halau O Kamuela
Another wonderful time at Merrie Monarch. This year I had the honor of playing music for Hula Halau O Kamuela, Na kumu hula Kau'i kamana'o & Kunewa Mook. The halau took top honors for Kahiko & Auana.
